VACATION!

Ben and I have been discussing taking a vacation for much of 2011. We researched multiple locations and the best time to leave. In the end, we decided it would be best to couple our vacation away with Christmas. We drove to PA early to drop Addison off with Ben's parents, who sweetly offered to keep their granddaughter, while we scurried away to Mexico. We stayed at The Grand Velas Resort and Spa in the Riviera Maya. It was beautiful!!! We were interested in resting, relaxing, warm weather, very little responsibility and reconnecting. It was nice to sit at dinner and focus on our relationship and future. 5 date nights in a row! We loved every minute. We went at the perfect time as well. The resort was fairly empty when we arrived. It was starting to fill up when our stay was over. We would recommend this resort to anyone! It was family friendly, but they had an adult pool and adult-only restaurants. Seeing the kids from time to time reminded us how happy we were to have some time away. We missed Addison, but knew she was having a great time with Babby and Papa and knew we would all benefit from the time mom and dad were taking. Below are a few pictures from our trip.
